Katherine N. Bent, RN, PhD, CNS and Linnea Hemphill, RN, MS, ANP
Dr. Bent is the associate chief of nursing service for research and Ms. Hemphill is a nursing supervisor, both at the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System, Denver. Dr. Bent is also an assistant professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center School of Nursing, Denver and the president of the Council on Nursing and Anthropology.
Recognizing the steadily increasing popularity of these therapies, the VA has called for more research into patterns of use among veterans. Here are the results from one VA facility.
